How safe are my funds?
All user deposits are kept in an independent bank account whose funds are completely segregated from operational funds. Deposits are made through SSL encrypted portal.
I live in a State whose residents are accepted by FanHalf. Why is FanHalf not accepting my deposit?
FanHalf utilizes a very sophisticated system of Customer Identity Verification. Failed deposit attempts in these cases likely stem from either of these scenarios : 1) an incomplete Customer address. Please make sure to complete all requested address fields. 2) Deposit attempts must originate from an IP address that is recognized by our system as originating from a State that is accepted by our system. If you are attempting a deposit from within a State that is currently blocked by our system, even if you are a resident of another State that is allowed, your deposit will be rejected.
Will FanHalf accept a debit card deposit?
Yes, but please be advised that using a debit card will likely require a follow-up phone call to your bank for verification. Our users report efficient, hassle-free deposit experiences when using a credit card.
Where are my Bonus funds displayed, and how are they applied?
Your Bonus funds are displayed in parentheses to the right of your Account Balance on the upper right corner after you log in. The Bonus will gradually become real cash in your account as you play cash contests on the site. Bonus money is transferred to your account balance at a rate of 4% of the entry fee for each cash contest you enter. For example, if you enter a $25 contest, $1 of your pending bonus will be applied to your account balance. If you cancel an entry or a game does not fill, the entry will not be counted towards your bonus.
What happens if I reserve a spot and forget to answer the contest questions?
True Fans never miss a game! But we know stuff happens. If you're not around at halftime you can still submit your answers anytime prior to the end of halftime. You won't be removed the from the contest if you fail to answer questions. However, any answer in your entry left blank is a 25 point penalty.
